Aims to expand EMEA analytics business with Intel Distribution

Integrator Big Data Partnership has taken Intel’s Hadoop distribution on with a view to boosting its analytics offering to the enterprise.
Mike Merritt-Holmes, chief executive and co-founder of Big Data Partnership, said the Intel software will enable the London-based firm to deploy data capture, storage and analysis offerings to larger organisations across EMEA.
“Intel Distribution is one of the leading analytics solutions on the market and we look forward to working with Intel to meet industry’s growing big data needs,�? he said.
Big Data Partnership’s team works to devise customised and scaleable offerings to suit larger organisations’ analytics requirements, Merritt-Holmes said.
Jobi George, director of big-data software product and channels in the software division at , said Big Data Partnership was “well equipped�? to not only deploy Hadoop apps but add a layer of support to Apache integrations.
He said that channel partnerships would be key.
“As we expand the adoption of the Intel distribution into new global markets, partnerships with knowledgeable and experienced companies will be strategic to our growth,�? he said.
